Education Program

What is it: Our Community Education program takes a pro-active approach and focuses on the holistic impact concussion has on well-being. It looks at the environmental, social, and cognitive challenges associated with those living with concussion and why these challenges require enhanced community support. Our program educates community members, caregivers, peers (etc)., on how to provide safer, more informed, and supportive communities. Our pro-active approach not only improves the well-being of those living with concussion but also the community members who provide support.

Our Goal: Address the numerous challenges faced by individuals recovering from concussions, emphasizing why community support is essential while navigating recovery.

What to Expect: An interactive education session facilitated by Keep Your Head Up team members who live the effects of brain injury.
